Lockdown Empties Part 2 - Skincare and Bodycare

I'm back with the second part of my lockdown empties instalment.  I managed to get through a great amount of skincare products which makes me really happy as it decluttered the shelf and allowed me to open some new products.
Here is the empties, starting with serums...

Tata Harper Rejuvenating Serum - Tata harper is quite a luxury. I bought this when I was suffering from peri-oral dermattst and I just didn't find it agreed with my skin at the time.  Fast forward to a time when my skin had settled and couldn't wait to use it again and found that it had gone off.  When I say off I really mean off, it smelled like really strong dog wee.  I would say use this straight away if you're going to get it. I also found the oil also went off really quick too.

The Ordinary Hylaronic Acid - I bought a whole lot of the ordinary when I was on a budget skincare moment.  Sadly I dislike the whole range.  I found this to be very bland, I like scented products so I didn't enjoy this.  My skin didn't look particularly glowing so I used this up on my legs instead.  It did hydrate my dry legs though so it's good for that.

Boots Botanics Brightening Serum - Made from plants from Kews garden and super budget friendly. While this serum is natural,  it was also lovely smelling and super hydrating.  I don't think they do this anymore, I believe they rebranded and there is no way it's still going to be £2.50.  I would buy it again if they did though.

Aromatica Rose Serum - Korean skincare serum.  This was lightly scented of roses but not enough to mask the smell of the ingredients.  My skin didn't particularly love this product so I used it on my legs instead to keep them hydrated.

Sunday Riley CEO Serum - I loved the smell, the formula and the results.  My skin reacted really well with this serum, especially if it was breaking out I found this calmed it overnight. It is a little pricey but I feel like I might invest in the full size of this as it really did work for me.

Nior Rejuvenate - This reminded me of a perfume I used when I was a teen.  It's really quite a strong fragrance but very nice to use.  My skin glowed after use but I did find it nipped my skin when it was over dry so probably best for normal skin.  I would rebuy it for the scent alone.

Omorovicza Cleansing Foam - I never use foam cleanser but I made an exception and used this one.  It was originally my travel cleanser but then I stopped travelling so used it up at home.  It removed makeup really well and left my skin very smooth and fresh.

Boots Botanics All Bright Day Cream - A budget friendly brightening day cream by boots botanics.  I liked the scent and its all natural ingredients.  My skin was super hydrated and it was good to apply before makeup.  It did separate a little bit but it worked fine.

Boots Botanics Rosehip Face Oil - I loved the smell of this, it wasn't overpowering just lightly fragranced.  The oil was quite thick before melting into the skin.  I loved this and would buy again.

Boots Botanics Hydrating Day Cream - This was a very thick day cream.  It hydrated very well and perfect for winter days.  It was also lightly fragranced which was nice. I would like to try this again.

Bee Good Facial Exfoliator - This was a manual facial exfoliator as it contained all the gritty stuff to rub into the skin.  It was very natural and my skin really enjoyed it.  I think it would be good for sensitive skins.

Origins Drink Up Intense Mask - I found this to be very heavy on my skin so I didn't enjoy it as much as I thought I would.  I sadly prefer other overnight masks instead so I would not repurchase this specific product from Origins.

Caudalie Moisture Surge - Refreshing and light face cream.  Perfect for hydrating skin during the day.

Whish Shave Cream - The first use of this was not pleasant, it smelled like sick I found but then I feel it's perhaps just it's fruit scent.  It did hydrate my skin and making shaving a breeze.

Mio Double Buff - A gritty body exfoliator that I really enjoyed using to get my skin glowing.  It was nice and creamy so I didn't need to use too much as it spread well. It also washed away well too and wasn't sticking to the bottom of the bath or shower after use.

Couvent Des Minimes Gardners Hand Healer - My skin was terribly dry and flaky when I decided to try this.  It worked wonders, I really couldn't recommend it enough.  Its fragrance free and very thick so it lasts on the skin a long time.  Perfect to use before bed. I'll be buying this again for sure.

L'Occitan Shea Hand Cream - I enjoyed using this had cream before bed to keep my skin from drying back out again after I had finished the above hand cream.  It worked great and also had very little scent to it.

Crabtree Evelyn Satin Hand Cream - This smelled amazing, I could smell it all day long. It was that lovely I got a huge body cream to use in the same scent.  The moisturiser also did leave my hands silky smooth just as it claimed.  Perfect for day use. I would be happy to use this again.

Thats the final instalment of the lockdown empties and wow that was a lot of products.  A few of these products would probably not have made it into this post had I not had the time to use them up.
The empties bin has already started to refill so I don't feel it will be long until another empties post returns.
